ERGODYNAMIC

The Ergodynamic is an FDI innovation featuring an integrated shock absorber integrated into the forearm crutch.

The cushioning effect helps relieve stress on the hand, wrist, and shoulder joints during daily use. Available in three sizes to suit all morphologys.

Unique integrated shock absorption system (patented): the shock absorber absorbs impact and helps prevent joint trauma (wrist, elbow, shoulder)
Silent operation
Extra-lightweight and flexible, weighing between 613 and 620 grams
Available in three shock-absorption capacities to adapt to all morpologies:

Size S: Recommended for users weighing up to 60 kg

Size M: Recommended for users weighing between 60 and 75 kg

Size L: Recommended for users weighing between 75 and 130 kg

Notre engagement de qualité

In order to guarantee the quality of our walking aids, FDI France carefully selects its raw material suppliers.
All of them are located in member countries of the European Union, comply with international standards, and are able to provide the corresponding certificates.

Our walking assistance devices undergo comprehensive testing carried out by CERAH (Center for Studies and Research on Assistive Devices for People with Disabilities), an organization accredited by COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee). These tests are intended to ensure the mechanical and thermal compliance of our products in accordance with NF EN ISO 11334-1.

None of the components used show any permanent deformation or breakage following these tests.
Finally, all of our products are designed without phthalates and without latex.
FATIGUE RESISTANCE

A load force corresponding to a maximum user weight of 130 kg is applied one million times to the walking stick at its maximum extension using a dummy arm.

LOW TEMPERATURE FRAGILISATION

We test the low-temperature resistance of the materials used to manufacture our walking sticks. To do this, the FDI walking stick is weakened by being placed in an environment at -25°C for 24 hours. It is then subjected to a series of drops, which must not reveal any cracks or breaks.

STATIC LOAD RESISTANCE

Our walking sticks must be able to withstand a static load of 130 kg without weakening. To achieve this, a load force is applied to the stick at maximum extension using a dummy arm, methodically reproducing a load increase of 1,300 newtons over 10 seconds.

RESISTANCE TO SEPARATION

Separation tests are carried out on our walking sticks to ensure the safety of each assembly. To do this, a tensile force of 500 newtons is applied for 10 seconds to the upper and lower parts of the walking stick. No component of the walking stick must come apart.
